On Easter Day, our beloved Richard Moore entered into his eternal rest in the arms of God. Richard’s wisdom, humor, presence and dedication not only to Nativity but to the entire LC Valley is a great loss to all of us. Information about Richard's service was originally posted here on the Nativity Facebook page on May 6th, but as we are coming closer to the date of his service, I thought it best to post once again. Richard’s funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, June 29th, at 1:00PM here at the Church of the Nativity. As Richard was such a pillar of both Nativity, Lewis-Clark State College, and our LC Valley community generally, we expect to have a full church for his service. Almighty God, our Father in heaven, before whom live all who die in the Lord: Receive our brother, Richard, into the courts of your heavenly dwelling place. Let his heart and soul now ring out in joy to you, O Lord, the living God, and the God of those who live. This we ask through Christ our Lord.
